Crafted by Martell’s Cellar Master, Christophe Valtaud, this exceptional Cognac retains the essence of L’Or de Jean Martell while incorporating unique characteristics inspired by the snake’s personality. Using a selection of rare, very old eaux-de-vie from past Snake years, the blend took months of expertise to achieve. The result is a golden amber spirit with mahogany highlights, exuding aromas of tamarind, lotus seeds, and longan, also known as dragon’s eye fruit. These fresh floral and fruity notes are enhanced by warm spices like Chinese cinnamon and Sichuan pepper, alongside cedar and sandalwood. On the palate, the richness of candied and dried fruits meets the brightness of berries, culminating in an extraordinary length.
