At the heart of the House of CAMUS, Les Ateliers Camus is the birthplace of the rarest and most exclusive cognacs.

This Cuvée, the seventh of its kind, is christened 4.186, a marriage of four powerful, complex yet elegant eaux-de-vies. The mysterious 186 in its name represents the sum of the years these cognacs have aged.

This year, as never before, we touch the empyrean where the gods dwell. Our Cuvée 4.186 is the rarest ever, produced as only 315 numbered decanters marked with the emblematic “Electrum”.

Cyril Camus’ ambition is to create a unique and non-reproducible composition of some of the most prestigious eaux-de-vie that are kept in the cellars of the House.

With this in mind, Julie Landreau – Cellar Master of the House of CAMUS – applies all her determination and perfectionism to the creation of exceptional rare vintage cognacs with a guaranteed provenance.

Combining floral, gourmet, fruity and spicy cognacs, she creates her recipes with meticulous care.

CAMUS COGNAC CUVÉE 4.186 ELECTRUM TASTING NOTES

The nose is complex and rich, revealing notes of walnut and dried fruits. Then come gourmet buttery notes accompanied by rancio for an exceptional journey of the nose.

On the palate, the rounded encounter of this marriage of four cognacs gives way to notes of wood and spices, and offers us a remarkable length in the mouth to prolong this historical sensory journey. A suspended moment that perfectly reflects the work of man, their respect and love for the land to create something exceptional.
